Bert Haro hired as PROSOCO’s Regional Sales Manager in U.S. Southeast

Bert Haro may be a new face to PROSOCO, but he’s not new to the concrete flooring scene in the Southeast.

A 10-year veteran in construction with a specialization in concrete flooring, including surface preparation and polishing, Haro joins PROSOCO as its Regional Sales Manager for North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and southern Virginia.

Haro honed a consultative approach in his previous roles in construction, giving him strong problem-solving skills as he brought creative, customized, and long-term solutions to his clientele and their projects.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Haro says he’s excited to hit the ground running in this new role.

“The scope of PROSOCO products allows me to have some roots in concrete floors and also bring my problem-solving abilities to other markets,” he says.

Clay Witt, PROSOCO’s Senior Director of Sales for the U.S. South, including Haro’s region, says he’s thrilled to add someone of Haro’s knowledge and background to the growing PROSOCO team.

“Bert’s background means he’s well-versed with our Consolideck products for finished concrete, and he has an impressive network of connections in the Southeast,” Witt says. “I know with Bert’s capabilities and smarts, he’ll get up to speed in no time in our other product groups. We’re elated to add Bert to our team.”

Originally from the U.S. Southwest, Haro now lives in Charlotte, N.C., with his family.

Bert Haro can be reached at 803-616-3198.

Air & Water Barriers

The blower door test can pass. Your air barrier can still fail.

By Chris Tobias Energy code is right about blower door testing. Run the test post-drywall, and you get a legitimate whole-building air leakage number (CFM50, expressed as ACH50), that's accepted by code officials, energy raters, and the building science community for exactly what it claims to be: a measurement of[…]

Three things architects should ask about their air barrier before the next job

The air barrier is rarely the star of the show or an exciting talking point at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There it sits, invisible behind the cladding, feeling underappreciated yet taking on work like an absolute beast: escorting vapor molecules out of the building, optimizing HVAC efficiency, ensuring energy metrics are[…]
