It's officially summer. Know what that means?
My colleagues and I are tackling more weekend projects at our homes. My personal summer goal is to (finally) tidy up and organize my garage. Our Creative Director John Young is installing a new stone wall around his garden. And our Senior Creative Producer Andy Harrington is cleaning up vintage tools he collects as a side hobby.
Luckily, we work for PROSOCO, which manufactures products for commercial construction as well as our own personal pursuits! Check out our "Staff Picks" to learn what we use on our homes.
Why Andy loves Tool & Equipment Cleaner:
- I can toss in my tools in it and walk away. No mixing or diluting needed. It's OK to leave tools submerged overnight.
- Color-changing magic! It lasts a long time and can be used over and over again to clean a LOT of tools, but you know the cleaner is no longer active when its color changes from red to yellow, indicating it's reached a neutral pH.
- It works on tough cement buildup and splatter, and is safe on rubber, plastic and glass.
Why John loves Adhesive:
- Ready to use. Just gun it out.
- No need to check the weather! Adhesive can be rained on before, during and immediately after installation.
- Versatile. It bonds to most common building materials, tenaciously.
Why Darcy loves Oil & Grease Stain Remover:
- Set it and forget it. It's ready to pour. No mixing or diluting needed.
- Easy to use. Pour it out and let it dry.
- It's effective even on (very) old stains. The pancake batter-like fluid does the hard work for you. It pulls deeply-embedded oil stains out of the surface as it dries. Then brush away the dried poultice and give the surface a quick rinse.
