Last Updated: June 2019

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us. To best protect your privacy, we provide this notice to explain our online information practices and present the choices available to you about the way your information is collected and used.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

When you visit the site, we automatically collect certain information about your device― including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the site, and information about how you interact with the site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the site, and collect data―including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referral/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Tags” and “pixels” are electronic files specifically used to record information about how you browse the site.

We use the Device Information (e.g. IP address, ISP) that we collect to screen for potential risk and fraud, and (more generally) to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site; and, to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to accomplish the objectives described above. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the site (you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/). You have the option to opt out of Google Analytics (here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

We may also share your Personal Information in order to: (1) comply with applicable laws and regulations; (2) respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive; or, (3) otherwise protect our rights.

PROSOCO operates as the exclusive owner and controller of all data collected through its website.  As noted above, some third parties will assist us in the processing of data, in order to accomplish goals and objectives set forth above, as well as to abide by federal, state, and local law and regulation. PROSOCO will only have access to (and/or collect) personal data that you share with us. As such, PROSOCO will not share your personal data with any third party, except as explicitly noted above, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order through a distributor.

PROSOCO respects our partners’ right to consent to be solicited for business. Therefore, we will operate online utilizing an OPT-IN format―information regarding new products; news about the goings-on at the company; and, updates to existing product lines will only be sent to our visitors who request that we do so. Future changes to our online privacy policy will be noticed on the main landing page of the PROSOCO website.
