OVERVIEW

R-Guard Spray Wrap Rain Screen is a fluid-applied water-resistive barrier designed specially to meet the requirements of pressure-equalized rain screen construction. The liquid formulation dries quickly into a highly durable, rubberized, water-resistant, vapor-permeable membrane that stops air and water leakage in cavity wall, masonry veneer construction, stucco, EIFS and other building wall assemblies. Spray Wrap Rain Screen minimizes the potential for condensation, allows accumulated moisture to dry, reduces energy costs and lowers the risk of mold and mildew. Suitable for vertical, above-grade applications, Spray Wrap Rain Screen is compatible with most paints, sealants and self-adhered waterproofing materials. It works on exterior gypsum, plywood and OSB sheathing; vented rain screen cladding; CMU; cast concrete; and other common building materials.
