PROSOCO continues to grow its nationwide sales organization with the addition of five sales staff members this summer.
In a new role, Rey Esteban serves as an Area Sales Manager for the U.S. East Coast and eastern Canada. A seasoned sales professional with 31 years of experience in building materials and engineered products, Esteban’s coverage includes New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Esteban previously worked for Dayton Superior, where his team focused on concrete accessories, chemicals and concrete forming products for non-residential construction. He also spent time at Stanley Black & Decker, CETCO, Skyline Steel-Nucor, Contech Engineered Products and Hilti. Over his career, he has managed several high-profile projects such as the Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge, Pavilion at University of Pennsylvania, and the NASA Smithsonian Museum.
Based in Allentown, Pa., Esteban is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and a Construction Document Technologist at CSI. In addition to his involvement with Construction Specification Institute, Esteban has also been involved in such professional organizations as the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, Sealant Engineering and Associated Lines, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Alex Bergeron is the new Regional Sales Manager covering Northern California, Nevada (except Clark County), Hawaii, and U.S. territories of Guam and Northern Mariana Islands. Most recently in outside sales with W.R. Meadows, Bergeron started his career in construction in college working for a small roofing company. Jay Pearsall is the new Regional Sales Manager for the U.S. Mountain region, including Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, and Montana. He brings several years of experience in sales in cement, concrete, waterproofing membranes, wire lath, color pigments and chemicals. His career includes stints at Heidelberg Materials North America, Huntsman Corporation, Builders Fence Company and CalPortland, among others. Mike Kelty is the new Regional Sales Manager supporting customers in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, D.C., southern Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Kelty brings 30 years of experience to PROSOCO, including stints at General Shale, Glen Gery Brick and Summit Brick. He most recently owned a masonry supply business and supplied PROSOCO products. Rod Pierce is the new Regional Sales Manager supporting customers in the Pacific Northwest, including Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. While in college, Pierce’s passion for building better led him to a job in construction and later in a sales role for a manufacturer.
