Ahearn Field House at K-state
Once home to K-State Wildcat basketball in Manhattan, Kan, the Ahearn Field House has been updated over the years and today houses indoor track & field activities and provides additional classroom space.
MTS Contracting out of North Kansas City, Mo., is completing a restoration of the building's exterior this month. Cutting Rough Openings In 100 Year Old 4 Wythe Brick
This old paper warehouse on the south side of Des Moines is being adapted into a new purpose, including retail on the ground floor and apartments on the stories above it. But, the number of existing windows wasn't going to work well for the new use. Enter: Forrest & Associate, whose crews used PROSOCO's Stitch-Tie Bars in a helical beaming method that stabilized the new rough openings before lentils could be installed. This eliminated the need for more expensive methods involving stabilization with lumber or i-beams. Watch exactly how it works.

Masonry restoration with helical beaming on 1909 warehouse retrofit
In San Antonio, Texas, just east of downtown, the former Merchants Ice House and Cold Storage Facility is being restored and updated to a bio-tech complex. But on a structure over 100 years old, how did they save those brick walls? Crews from Shadrock & Williams Masonry used PROSOCO's Stitch-Ties to secure and stabilize the brick facade to the backup walls.
