Jordan Svejda, a 20-year veteran of the construction industry in Chicago, has joined PROSOCO as a Building Envelope Technical Specialist.
In the new role, Svejda (pronounced SVAY-dah) will support customers of PROSOCO’s R-Guard line of air and water barrier products in Chicago, northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan’s upper peninsula. Svejda worked in manufacturing for 12 years before moving to distribution sales in 2016 for one of Chicago’s oldest and largest distributors, Lance Construction Supplies. Most recently, he worked as a territory manager for Henry and Carlisle.
While working for Lance Construction Supplies in Chicago, Svejda was introduced to PROSOCO via Jim and Jeff Lucas, who have independently represented PROSOCO in Chicago for decades.
His familiarity with PROSOCO caused Svejda to jump at the chance when he saw the position open up.
“This opportunity feels like it’s been 20 years in the making,” Svejda says. “I’m very excited to be part of a company as respected as PROSOCO.”
Garritt Visser, PROSOCO’s Director of Sales - West, said Jordan was an ideal fit for the new position.
