PROSOCO grows by four new faces

PROSOCO continues its growth spurt with the hiring of four new employees in sales and customer support roles.

PROSOCO is pleased to announce four new employees have joined its growing staff.

Kent Chandler

Kent Chandler joins PROSOCO as its Architectural Specifications Manager. From his home base of Ankeny, Iowa, just outside of Des Moines, Kent will work with designers, architects and specifiers nationwide.

Kent brings extensive experience in building materials and technical solutions to the new role for PROSOCO, with a strong foundation developed during his time with CETCO Building Materials Group. He later expanded his industry experience at Henry, a Carlisle Company, where he held several roles including territory manager, pre-applied waterproofing specialist, and product manager of roofing products.

Kent can be reached via email or phone at 515-491-7647.

Luis Mercado

Luis Mercado joins PROSOCO as its Regional Sales Manager for Florida. (Luis replaces our previous Regional Sales Manager covering this region, Mark Donze, who will be moving back to Ohio and shifting to the role of Concrete Flooring Technical Specialist effective April 1.)

Luis, a native of Brooklyn, New York, and a resident of St. Cloud, Fla., will support customers in Florida on all PROSOCO product lines. He brings a wealth of experience to the position, including two decades in consultative services and tool sales. His previous work includes leadership roles at Lowe’s, Bosch Tool, and IMI Mold Testing & Remediation. He also worked as a store manager and account manager for Hilti’s anchoring and tool segment. Luis is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Luis can be reached via email or phone at 689-343-5171.

Cory Schwab joins PROSOCO as its Regional Sales Manager covering the Southwest region, including Arizona, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. The addition of Cory to PROSOCO’s growing sales network allows the previous Regional Sales Manager of this territory, Luis De Simas, to focus his efforts to Southern California.

Based out of Phoenix, Schwab brings a wide array of experience and skills to the position, including 9 years in various roles for hardscapes manufacturer Castohn in Tacoma, Wash., owning and managing a 20-Minute Fitness business, and playing professional basketball for Pro Basketball Club in Tasmania.

Cory can be reached via email or phone at 602-292-7939.

Jason Squires

Jason Squires joins PROSOCO as its Regional Sales Manager covering the U.S. Southeast-Central region, including Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and northern Arkansas. The hiring of Jason doubles the customer support that PROSOCO now offers in the Southeast, with Bill Daniel concentrating his efforts to Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Jason’s background bolsters PROSOCO’s support and knowledge base – he’s worked in concrete flooring for 25 years. Jason previously worked in leadership and management roles for American Concrete Concepts, Surface Spec, Niagara Machine, and Diamatic USA. He is based out of Conway, Ark.

Jason can be reached via email or phone at 501-518-4428.
