Description

The product’s low viscosity and small molecular size allow maximum penetration into the concrete or masonry surfaces. Treated surfaces maintain their vapor permeability, slip resistance and other surface characteristics.

OVERVIEW
PROSOCO® Silane 40 is a clear, penetrating silane water repellent for concrete surfaces containing a solution of silane reduced in solvents. Silane 40 protects horizontal and vertical concrete and masonry surfaces against water intrusion and salt attack. The product’s low viscosity and small molecular size allows maximum penetration into the concrete or masonry surfaces. PROSOCO® Silane 40 chemically reacts with the substrate to produce a long-lasting water repellent effect. Surfaces treated with Silane 40 maintain their vapor permeability, slip resistance and other surface characteristics. Depth of penetration is controlled by the application rate (loading rate).
