Northeast Sales Solutions is the new independent rep for all PROSOCO products in upstate New York. With partners Alan Nicolette and George Reilly at the helm, Northeast Sales Solutions is based out of Buffalo with service to clients from Western New York to Syracuse and as far south as Poughkeepsie.
The firm was founded in 2018, but Alan’s experience as an independent rep goes back much farther. His father, Mark Nicolette, started a rep business in the early 1980s called Upstate Marketing. Alan joined that business in 2006. In 2018, the firm merged with Davis Callahan, and the business was renamed to Northeast Sales Solutions.
Adding PROSOCO to their lineup was a “natural fit,” says Alan. “It’s a great complimentary line to everything else we sell. We represent a number of concrete accessories, including sprayers, brushes, levels, restoration products. Over the years, we’ve sold everything that has to do with concrete.”
One competitive distinction that Alan says Northeast Sales Solutions offers to their distributors is their teamwork.
“George and I are truly partners,” he says. “All our distributors are getting not just one, but two. We fill in for each other so we can provide above-and-beyond service to distributors. We back everyone quickly because we know that when they have a problem, it needs to be addressed quickly. We try to be fair with everybody and we only sell through distribution. We don’t undercut. We’re always willing to make end-user calls to put the customer at ease.”
