Nick Savage is back on the PROSOCO roster, but with a slightly different role. Formerly Business Unit Leader for the company’s Concrete Flooring Group, Savage now takes on the title of Director of Product Strategy for concrete flooring products plus certain hard surface care products.
With 13 years of experience at PROSOCO specifically focused on concrete flooring products, and 22 years total in the concrete flooring industry, Savage enters the new role with more familiarity than most.
He’ll be working on the same product line as he did during his first stint but will concentrate on sharpening the company’s strategic vision for product development and supporting a growth-minded sales organization.
PROSOCO President Jake Boyer says the organization is fortunate to boost its staff with someone of Savage’s experience and perspective.
“After being away for nearly two years, Nick has gained valuable insights and has broadened his understanding of the concrete flooring industry overall,” Boyer says. “His time away has enriched his view of the challenges and opportunities we face, and we’re fortunate to benefit from the depth he brings back with him. We’re confident that Nick’s experience, both with PROSOCO and in his time away, will make a meaningful impact as we continue building on our success.”
For Savage, the changes that he has seen at PROSOCO during his absence solidified his interest in returning.
“There’s definitely a comfort after being here for 13 years before, but also, a lot has changed in two years,” Savage says. “What I’ve observed Jake doing differently, as far as putting more of our people out there, putting an emphasis on our sales initiatives and focusing on growth, I really like what I see. I’m glad I can come back to be part of something special happening here and make an immediate impact.”
Welcome home, Nick!
