NOTE: PROSOCO will not begin filling the position until after January 2nd, 2020
JOB SUMMARY
To be able to work independently in an assigned production work center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Capping
- Labeling
- Filling containers
- Lifting and placing containers in cardboard boxes for shipping
- Stacking cases/containers on pallets
- Clean-up of work area
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following all safety precautions.
- Documentation of manufacturing orders.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for reporting containers leaks and/or defects in containers before they are packaged and shipped.
- Responsible for verifying label with manufacturing order.
- All other duties as assigned to meet production demands.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Must be self-motivated and able to keep up with production demands.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be flexible and willing to help others when requested. Must be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Due to the nature of our business, the ability to understand, read and write English fluently is required for safety reasons.
SKILLS:
PROSOCO is looking for people who take pride in their work, who show up every day and on time. Must be able to lift up to 65lbs and pass a drug screening.
PROSOCO is located in Lawrence KS.
Work schedule is Monday – Friday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
