Learning & Development Leader


To provide overall support to PROSOCO to help others succeed, including development and deployment of an overall training and development strategy to support internal teams as well as external partners.


In addition to traditional functions, work closely with all Business Unit Leaders on various cross-functional projects. Responsibilities may span across internal strategy, recruiting, legal and regulatory, coaching and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and community involvement.



  1. Own the development of the company training strategy, working with department leadership to prioritize training initiatives.
  2. Assists in developing career growth programs, mentorship and development opportunities for all levels of employees
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine learning needs and the best delivery approach.
  4. Work effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop engaging/challenging training, using adult learning principles and systematic instructional design
  5. Identify learning gaps within the departments and project manage the creation and execution of the required training
  6. Manage the training activities of the department leads to ensure content is up-to-date, audit compliant, and of good quality
  7. Be responsible for selection, development and management of a Learning Management System (LMS), including program reporting and audits
  8. Serve as the key point of contact for PROSOCO trainers
  9. Be passionate about helping people learn and grow. You will help our employees and external customer advance their skills and knowledge
  10. Identify strong external vendors in the marketplace, establishes relationships, and deploys them as needed to drive learning
  11. Partner on all learning-related operations, including vendor management, project budgeting, planning, logistics management, and communication

      • Strong PC skills, including MS Office Suite
      • Knowledge of learning management systems
      • Knowledge of content authoring software (Captivate, Articulate 360)

        • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, mobile phones, photocopiers, scanners, iPads, and digital cameras.
        • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
        • Must be able to travel frequently for industry research up to 20-30%.


        Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications. Recent hands-on experience and knowledge of learning management systems and content authoring software. 


        Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development or related field. At least eight (8) years of previous adult learning experience.
